The main inland town, Dardanup, is best known for its annual Bull and Barrel Festival each October, which celebrates the areas dairy and wine industries. The Shire of Dardanup is one of the fastest-growing local government areas in Australia and encompasses the suburb of Eaton (on the fringes of the City of Bunbury) as well as a largely rural hinterland of lush farmlands, forests and rivers.

Quirky Gnomesville great for children

Did you know Gnomesville--deep in the heart of the Ferguson Valley--now has around 3000 gnomes in residence? Where have they all come from?

It's a wonderful place for children to explore, wandering around the pathways and through the woodlands. And, best of all, it's free. From Dardanup, head along Ferguson Road and Wellington Mill Road to get to Gnomesville.
