Nestled in the fringes of the Wellington National Forest these two boutique, self catered, adults only retreats promise luxury, privacy and peacefulness with every modern convenience. A 25 min drive from Bunbury or 2 Hour drive from Perth, our retreats are close to wineries, restaurants, galleries, bush walking, cycle tracks and all the beauty the Ferguson and Preston River Valleys have to offer. All our guests receive a beautiful complimentary Welcome Hamper complete with homemade muesli, sourdough and condiments, fresh farm eggs, milk, butter and a locally produced bottle of wine. An assortment of teas, coffees are also provided. We can also provide cheese and BBQ hampers with prior notice. And our massage and Beauty therapist Margs can visit your “escape pod” for a blissful in room massage, facial or pedicure.(prior booking necessary) Both our retreats have a luxurious king sized bed with luxury linens, double sided fireplace, bath and rain shower and gorgeous locally sourced toiletries. WIFI is free and we are now connected to Starlink to ensure you have the best possible connection to the outside world. The fully equipped mini kitchen and BBQ enable you to whip up your own delicious meals. We stayed in early April to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary and we were not disappointed. Tansy and Cam do not leave anything to chance, everything is well thought out from the welcome hamper and wine, to ensuring your off grid experience is the best it can be. A first for us was using solid shampoo and conditioner, no one-use plastic bottles here and a compost bin for compostable waste to help feed their worms! It’s such a beautiful valley and we stayed for four luxurious nights of calm and bliss. Relaxing after a shower or a soak in the bath overlooking the dam wrapped up in our bath gowns or lying in bed in sumptuous linen and fresh towels we felt spoilt with a glass of red in hand, a perfect way to spend any anniversary. Just wanted to say on behalf of Diane and myself that we really enjoyed our stay in Minnie and couldn’t wish for a nicer place to relax in the garden and enjoy our special anniversary with walks around the farm.
